We have a wonderful, small school! The establishment is over 100 years old! The elementary school has been recently remodeled. We have also recently added a stage for our performing arts. Also, our ag shop has been updated a bit as well!

Mr. Carlton Stowers wrote a book entitled "Where Dreams Die Hard" featuring Penelope and its 6-man football team.  The book is now on reading lists in many schools in Texas! 

We have a very active Parent-Teacher organization! We call it the Better School Organization. They sponsor many fundraising events throughout the year. All money raised goes directly to the students.
